Deadline Jan. 20: Operations Committee Opportunity – preparing WOW Hall to reopen!

I am excited to announce the formation of a planning committee for operations planning to review hall policies, prioritize areas of focus, and recommend changes as needed to the board. I see this as an opportunity to prepare WOW Hall for reopening presumably in 2021 with robust community arts offerings and structural soundness to support it. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

The operations committee will review current policies ranging from fundraising to programming to facility needs. We will then make recommendations where we see deficits and opportunities. We have a unique chance to seize on some preparation time to maximize cultural diversity and high quality of WOW Hall events while celebrating the hall itself with historical and artistic preservation and youth development.

We are asking for 4 to 9 committee members (including at least 2 from staff and 2 from the board of directors, with all members welcome to apply) initially with more to participate in subcommittees. This will be a 6-month commitment to work groups and meeting attendance on weeknights of 100 minutes per bi monthly or monthly meeting.

and candidates will be chosen and contacted by the third week of January.   Thank you, Mike. 541-222-0632 (text preferred).

Thank you Congress for passing the Save Our Stages Act!
