Illuminati Hotties

Despite the pluralized nom de guerre, illuminati hotties is the creative outlet of Sarah Tudzin – a producer, engineer, and burrito aficionado hailing from the sprawl of Los Angeles. Armed with bright white shortveralls and a rotating line-up of Sarah’s bffs, illuminati hotties has been lighting up stages across SoCal since Fall 2016 with playfully interweaving guitar lines, relentless rhythmic momentum, and strikingly self-aware vocals. Lauded as local “tenderpunk pioneers,” illuminati hotties has perfected the blend of sweetness and ferocity, of celebration and despondency, in their soon-to-be released debut album, Kiss Yr Frenemies.

At first listen, illuminati hotties is a sun-drenched, irreverent volley with the onset of adulthood, but as the listener dives deeper, they will find an earnest consideration of musical phrasing and deliberately crafted wordplay regarding the complexity of love, loss, and skateboarding. illuminati hotties’ live show challenges audiences to bring their deepest feels and fiercest moves to the floor, and has elicited comparisons to Best Coast, Angel Olsen, Courtney Barnett, and Alvvays.

Enumclaw is a rock band based in Tacoma, WA composed of brothers Aramis and Eli and friends

Nathan and Ladaniel. The four met playing shows in the Seattle-Tacoma area and bonded over their mutual love for Drake, Nirvana, and 90’s R&B. Despite having never played guitar or have any singing experience, frontman Aramis has proclaimed that the band will be the biggest in the world. With critical acclaim from Pitchfork, Gorilla Vs Bear, Stereogum, KEXP, and others, Enumclaw is on their way. Their debut EP Jimbo Demo came out late April 2021 via Youth Riot Records.

Eliza McLamb

After being forced to return home from college due to COVID, Eliza McLamb decided that she would not survive being stuck again. She took off on a cross-country road trip from her hometown of Carrboro, NC on an adventure that would result in her playing songs she'd write on the spot on Tik Tok resulting in multiple viral moments, recording her first EP in a shed, experiencing time for self-reflection, and ending in LA where she's decided to pursue music as a fulltime career. Porn Star Tits, released 2020, saw her gain an audience across Tik Tok and Spotify has brought her a new life in LA as a musician and creator. "Irish Exit" is her next generation of songs, beautiful and thoughtful songwriting pared with both sparse and lush instrumentation to build an emotional scene reminiscent of the best parts of all three Boy Genius members.

Touring with Penelope Scott Fall 2021, more singles to be announced later this Summer.

Bloodworks NW and Music’s In Our Blood

Since the beginning of the pandemic, blood donations have decreased nearly 35%. The blood inventories at our region’s hospitals are critically low. Every two seconds someone needs blood. And it takes 1,000 donors a day – from Eugene to Bellingham – to provide the hospitals the blood they need for trauma, cancer and other diseases or situations that could impact our friends, family… or even one of us. We just never know. The Wild Buffalo in partnership with Black Fret, Bloodworks Northwest and the music community – via the campaign, Music’s In Our Blood – is proud to be hosting Westend for a special performance on Thursday, October 20. In an effort to educate, inspire and call to action our community to consider donating blood, this free concert is a platform for a conversation on how we can work together to ensure a healthy community. Our goal of the Music’s In Our Blood campaign is 20,000 new and re-engaged blood donors by year’s end. For more information about the campaign and to schedule a blood donation today go to Music moves us. Blood bonds us.
