Office House Manager Position Overview


The W.O.W. Hall is owned and operated by the Community Center for the Performing Arts, a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to:

  • Providing cultural arts and educational opportunities for all ages and income levels
  • Preserving and operating the historic Woodmen of the World Hall as a multipurpose community arts center
  • Maintaining a supportive environment for local artists and their creative efforts

The Office Manager(s) will be responsible for providing administrative and publicity support to the CCPA. This includes customer service, ticketing and administrative tasks to support the CCPA as well as direct supervision of Poster Distributors.  This position reports to the Operations Manager if staffed, otherwise the Office Manager reports to the Board of Directors.

Starting wages for this hourly position will be based on skills and experience. 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Performing opening and closing duties for the WOW Hall office.
  • Providing professional, friendly and effective customer service.
  • Handling transactions for the sale of tickets and merchandise.
  • Responding to emails, phone calls, voice messages, mail, etc.
  • Maintaining office equipment and supplies.
  • Direct supervision of Poster Distributors, supervision and support of other W.O.W. Hall employees, particularly the Publicist.
  • Engaging W.O.W. Hall social media presence (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, etc).

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Computer skills including proficiency with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, online ticketing software like TicketWeb.
  • Experience using social media sites such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • Experience with monetary transactions in a professional environment.  
  • High school diploma or GED. 

Pay Rate:

Pay range for the Office Manager is $10.25 to $13 per hour.  Starting pay for successful candidate will depend on skills, experience and available budget.
