HYPER SLOTH

Hyper Sloth is a four-piece rock and roll band with melodic metal overtones.  All four members are seasoned musicians who are very focused and driven by their passion to create. With their combined talents and experience in the scene, they formed this all-original band from the ground up in Feb. 2014 and released their first EP Crack The Whip.  Hyper Sloth takes their music very seriously but at the same time they are sarcastic pranksters that love to just have a great time and play some rock "n roll....

            Meet the band:

A little alternative rock, a little folk, and a little bit Gypsy, Phoebe Blume has redefined all of the above into something else entirely.  Now her haunting, crooning voice has taken on a new role, that of “lead screamer” for Hyper Sloth.  You know that you’ve never heard anything like it before.

Phoebe’s award winning music has received national, as well as international, recognition and airplay for her genre transcending style.  A strong female role model to other songstresses, her music is real, unapologetic and delivered with 100% integrity. This bluesy, rock influenced artist is also an opera trained multi instrumentalist whose talents include playing piano, banjo and producing much of her own music. A riveting performer and dedicated professional, Phoebe performs and writes nearly every day.

On guitar is Issa Koberstein.  Issa is an extremely versatile and creative musician. Playing since the age of 6, he has forged his own powerful and original style from a vast range of influences.  He's also an accomplished song writer and teacher and has worked with Grammy winning musicians in previous projects which include We Have Guns, Sickman and Issa Band.

On bass is Jayson Breeton.  Jayson hammers on the bass upside down and left handed like a champ. He is an extremely heavy and solid player and accomplished songwriter. He has worked with Grammy winning musicians as well and grew up in the Seattle area where he was signed to ESTRUS Records. He has a wide range of influences and some of his previous projects include Sickman, Marble Orchard, The Koozies, Wet Sock and Issa Band.

On drums is John Raden -- an incredibly solid percussionist who teaches drums for a living. He is a very dedicated and professional musician all around. With years of experience and dedication to his talent, he brings an amazing and powerful sense of dynamics and girth to the band.  Some of his previous projects include The Dead Americans and Candy Apple Blue.

SHANOA

Shanoa is a four-piece metal band based in Roseburg.  Formed in 2016, the band includes Matt Webber, Tony Marin, and Lei'a Lei'a Jr. (three former members of southern Oregon's own Lidless Eye) as well as Brandon Cregan, former guitarist of the popular southern Oregon band Tallboy.  Heavy, riff driven songs, and an amazing connection with the crowd make Shanoa’s live performances something you won't want to miss!

HYDING JEKYLL

2018 marks ten years Hyding Jekyll has been making music in the Willamette valley.  A combination of the band's influences and its members experiences, the music moves from funk laden riffs to spacey openings.  The songs tell a story from power to failure, humanity at it's best to worst.  The music shapes the stories.  “We try to take everyone on an adventure,” says founding member Greg Gillispie.

Hyding Jekyll started in 2008 as a tribal funk trio.  Over the years and several lineup changes, Hyding Jekyll has become a much more diverse band musically.  The eclectic nature allows Hyding Jekyll to groove to the sound of the moment and write the story around it.

Hyding Jekyll continues to grow their local fan base while continuing as one of areas longest running original bands.  Always shifting changing and trying to give each show something different, the future is wide open and Hyding Jekyll looks forward to sharing it with you.  With their heavy funk sound, die hard attitude and outstanding musical savvy, Hyding Jekyll looks to make an impact locally and beyond,

Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 day of show.  Doors open at 7:00 pm and showtime is 7:30.
