On Saturday, February 29, the Community Center for the Performing Arts and University of Oregon Campus Radio 88.1 FM KWVA invite you to celebrate Leap Day at the “Show That Time Forgot” with performances by Kellalit, Honey, Bluphoria and Los Gondos at the WOW Hall.

According to an old Irish legend, or possibly history, St Brigid struck a deal with St Patrick to allow women to propose to men – and not just the other way around – every four years.  This is believed to have been introduced to balance the traditional roles of men and women in a similar way to how leap day balances the calendar.  So if you have two X chromosomes – what are you waiting for? It will be four more years before there’s another opportunity like this.

Kellalit has played alongside artists such as Major Lazor’s Walshy Fire, The Funk Hunters, UZ, Atarii, Earthgang, EPROM, and most recently, Ekali at the McDonald Theater.  Kellalit’s high energy comes alive during her sets.  She mixes bass house, dubstep, and future bass, while producing future bass and dubstep tracks. Her style is electric and her stage presence is like no other. She strives to captivate her audience and generate energy that stems from her passionate performance on the CDJs supplemented with vivacious dancing."

Honey is a band formed in Eugene in 2019, consisting of guitarists Clayton Eiberg and Jackson O’Brien, bassist Isaac Luger and drummer Max Stolper, mixing blues, funk and rock into a sweet and highly danceable elixir.

Bluphoria is a four-piece Psych-Pop rock band from Eugene, dedicated to putting on an electrifying show and timeless music!

Doors open at 7:00 pm and the show is scheduled for 8:00 – 11:30.  Tickets are $6 advance, $8 day of show.
