Free People

December 15, 2018 - 11:00am

On Saturday, December 15, the WOW Hall welcomes Free People from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Free People, a Eugene nonprofit, developed in response to people experiencing homelessness in our community.  This annual event is all about providing food, clothing, friendship and hope.  We extend compassion and dignity to all.

Everyone has a story.  Homeless people often live in a story of pain, failure, abuse and loss. This can result in despair, regret and a bleak outlook on the future.

Beyond meeting basic needs, Free People helps by providing referrals to local services and networking with other agencies.  We offer hope for daily strength and long-term change. The homeless too may become empowered to help others.

In addition to cash, the types of donations that also help us are: clean clothing, winter coats, gloves, hats, scarves, socks, shoes, boots, toiletries, sleeping bags, blankets and camping gear.

For information or to drop off donations contact david@freepeopleeugene.com.  Donations can also be dropped off at the WOW Hall during office hours the week of Dec. 10-14.
