Coalessence with Dj Solus Matthew
March 21, 2017 - 6:00pm
Coalessence Dance Mission: To Inspire dynamic dance journeys - sometimes edgy, sometimes easy, always heart-centered -
which celebrate and explore movement, connection,
and authentic expression guided by rich, diverse, soundscapes.
Please welcome guest Dj Solus Matthew to The Wow Hall this Tuesday
for an extended dance from 6-9pm. Doors open at 4:30 for a Qi Gong and Contact Improv guided warmup.
Solus has planted some seeds for this week's dance journey, please feel free to tend them at any time as you dance your paths. And if one of your path leads to the Wow Hall on tuesday then we can discover together what mix is germinating!
This time is influenced by the balancing forces of the equinox – the balancing of light and dark – when the Sun is at the midpoint between its extremes and the shift from longer nights yielding to longer days is changing fast. This is a good time to notice where you find balance in your life and feel the support.
There’s also tension afoot, we’re being pushed to change, we are right in the midst of dissolving and creating.
We’re waking up! Healing our minds of the ‘programs running in the background.
The intimacy of the body-mind relationship is being called into play, so better to discipline the mind than play our stresses out in the body. Be aware of the body’s communication; where it needs attention and appreciation to better integrate all the powerful changes going on at every level now.
If ever there was a time – to let go, to practice, and to breathe – this is most certainly it.
For I can fly, like an eagle on high, or throw up my hands and quit.
I introduce "surrender" as not quitting,
