Black Hare, Vial... Experiment, Black Bell, Dead Kingmaker

September 23, 2017 - 7:30pm

On Saturday, September 23, the Community Center for the Performing Arts and Phoenix Productions proudly welcome Black Hare, Vial…experiment, Black Bell and Dead Kingmaker.

Originating from Eugene back in 2011, Black Hare was a "Craigslist Success Story" with a very positive beginning.  A four-man punch in the face, some fans have said they can, "Feel the dust settle at the end of a song."  Explosive.  Creative.  Unique.  Black Hare belts out their energy on eager fans at every show.  A band of diverging cultures, influences, and a shared passion, Black Hare is simply dubbed, "Oregon Rock."

They have made some leaps in this industry.  Black Hare has recently found endorsement with 'Dirtbag Clothing Co.' and will be offering their gear at a show near you!

Black Hare has gone through many ups and down's including different line-ups; as a matter of fact the line-up from their latest E.P. reincarnation has changed again.  Jered Kappenman and Zack Settergren are the only original members, refusing to give up no matter the number of setbacks.  They've had over six drummers, three different bassists, and two rhythm guitarists.  Most people would give up, but Zack and Jered just love the music so much they just refuse to.

The current line up is Zack Settergren on lead vocals, Jered Kappenman on lead guitar, Ethan Osterloh on bass, and Jonathon Hetzel on drums.

Vial...experiment is a hard rock/metal band from Eugene with a live show that brings both excitement and energy to any stage or venue they play.  The band was formed in 2007 by Kevin Wayne "Kevlar" Richardson guitar/vocals and had a few lineup changes along the way.  Mike Nelson/guitar, F.A./bass, and Tim Benton/drums now round out the lineup.

"Vial...experiment" is a powerhouse musical juggernaut with an imminent album release and tour dates coming soon.

An emotionally charged live performance makes Black Bell one of Eugene’s many risings stars.  Combining classic, modern and progressive influences with pop sensibilities and a brutal guitar attack, Black Bell sets themself apart as a musical force to be reckoned with.

Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door.  Doors open at 7:00 pm and showtime is 7:30.
